## What it is

AILatest Journal helps researchers and students:

- Search journals by title, abbreviation, ISSN
- View Impact Factor, JCR quartile, CAS (中科院) zones, warning / on-hold lists, Scopus and specialty indexes where available
- Browse regional official directories (China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Poland PBN, Iran ISC, Latin America SciELO)
- Save favorites, share lists, use browser extension lookups
- Run AI-assisted journal picks (quota depends on Free / Pro / Max plan)

The web `/pick` page uses DeepSeek for semantic profile extraction and then
ranks against the auditable AILatest journal bundle. It requires sign-in for
the server-side AI quota; guests are kept on the local matcher and can use the
public Skill/API endpoints below. Skill/API `recommend` is a structured-data
keyword recommender, not a direct DeepSeek proxy.

index splits these URLs into bounded chunks for reliable crawler processing.
